Credit Cards Not Working on Parking Meters

      NYC Parking Meters are not accepting credit cards. There is a software issue involving the year turning to 2020, so the machines need to be upgraded. See story here The meter still accepts coins or you can use the app.

      The Third Avenue Festival was cancelled due to covid-10. The Narrows Harvest Festival has been cancelled due to COVID-19.     The Ragamuffin Day Parade was cancelled   Halloween is on. The Macy’s Thanksgiving Parade is on – but no viewers can be present due to COVID-19.

      Rimas Star opened at 6752 5th Avenue.  A corner deli/grocery used to be here – it closed quietly.
