The empty shops on 86th Street look horrible. This is 563 – 86th Street. I couldn’t figure out what store was here until I looked on Google – Boost Mobile store.

Coszcal de Allende Restaurant is setting up at 7506 – 3rd Avenue (formerly Mr. Chips Diner and the Lighthouse Diner before that). I love the warm peach color they painted the place – it’s so clean, pretty and bright!!

Two firetrucks were outside Avid Hotel this morning on 86th Street in Bay Ridge. Everything looked normal – no sign of a fire. The hotel had about five guests in their lobby relaxing and eating breakfast.
