Today there was a rally against the anti-Semitism in Bay Ridge last week.

Councilmember Inna Vernikov, Dov Hikind and others said an attack on one is an attack on all. Blake, the man who was assaulted outside of Footlocker spoke in the video.

They were chanting: “Jewish Lives Matter” (good chant) and “Jewish Blood Is Not Cheap.” (That didn’t sound too good).
Blake’s friend, Ilan Kaganovich spoke about the incident and how he wanted to help his friend.

There was a counter-protest by Jewish men who believe that Identifying with the IDF fuels Anti-semitism. (See photo shared by the Free Palestine account) The men chanted: Free, Free Palestine.
Normally, I like seeing this ultra Orthodox group of men supporting the Palestinians in Bay Ridge, but today they missed their opportunity to say: NO ONE DESERVES TO BE HIT FOR WEARING A PIECE OF CLOTHING.
