Justin Brannan Voted for Non-Citizens to vote in NYC. Tannousis is Fighting It
Channel 1 News said that it will only take someone 30 days to be in this country and be able to vote in NYC.
The right to vote belonged to citizens. NYC Council members like Justin Brannan think they know better and the laws in NYS aren’t that important. Brannan was one of the sponsors of the bill.
Justin Brannan should have done something to help people expedite their citizenship – not giving voting rights to people who aren’t citizens.
Mike Tannousis said he looked forward to fighting this legislation in court and in the NYS Assembly.
