Senator Gounardes Showed Up for the Dyker Tree Lighting – (Where’s Brannan?)
It appears when you have two friends in office, they show for half the events. Both pols put their names on the flyer.
For the Shore Road Tree Lighting last week, Senator Gounardes didn’t show, even though Shore Road Park is just a few blocks from his home.
Strangely, he posted pics and a tweet which made it seem like he was there (thank you for “joining us”) See here His tweet should have read: “Thank you for joining my staff. I am sorry I was unable to make it because…”
Even Max Rose tweeted as if Gounardes was there, when even his photo showed he acted like he was still in office and was there to turn the light on at the event. (See here)
