When a sick strap hanger lost consciousness and fell on the subway tracks in the Bronx, @NYPDTransit officers didn’t hesitate for a moment to put his safety ahead of their own. We’re also grateful to the Good Samaritan who bravely helped. pic.twitter.com/m0kmylDUJJ
Transit Police Officer, Ludin Lopez went into the tracks and brought a 60-year-old man who had a seizure to safety. Another kind NY’er also jumped into the tracks to help (no one knows his name). (See Story)
In the paper, Officer Lopez was very modest and said he was in the right place at the right time. (See here) He is a true hero!
The other officers used their flashlights to signal the conductor of the oncoming train not to come into the station. (Watch the video above)
