Footloose
When I was in 7th grade, the original Footloose came out. What a magical movie! It was the first movie that I saw in the movie theater with my friends (instead of family). When it came out on VHS tape, I bought it and watched it over and over!
Who didn’t love Kevin Bacon? Ren taught Even the boys in my class loved him and tried to reproduce his moves.
Who could forget how Ren taught sweet Willard to dance!

The new movie is coming out. It could never match the old. But I bet country line dancing becomes popular this Fall. I hope my students get to experience the same magic that the movie had for us many years ago.

I’m glad they’re making a new movie. This way, it reminds people of old memories and it allows people to get that new feeling. The original shall always live, though!
