Five Below Is Opening in Sunset Park
A new store is opening on 5th Avenue and 53rd Street in Sunset Park. This large storefront used to where New York and Company used to be (before that it was Lerner).
A lot of parents go to the Staten Island, Long Island or NJ store because they love that all the items in the store are between $1.00 and $5.00.
Kids and teens love it because the store sells a lot of fun items like toys, tech (headphones and cell phone chargers), makeup, school supplies, tshirts and candy. (See online shop here)

Wonder if they are taking the whole thing? That’s a big store. Surprised DII hasn’t returned to Sunset.
They would go well with this store if they were to split it.

I think it is the entire store as Five Below is pretty large in other areas like this:

I’m surprised which stores have left Sunset Park too. There are always people shopping there – even during the pandemic when there was no one out in Bay Ridge, people were shopping on 5th Avenue in Sunset Park.
