   Like to thank all the obnoxious noise makers who kept fireworks going on Shore Road until 2AM. Bet you don’t live around here – and you didn’t clean up after yourselves. Plenty of police cars around here from 10 pm on but what for? Did they arrest anyone? Did they confiscate anything? Were the noisemakers off-duty police? Thanks for putting us all in danger – of fires, etc. The fireworks were not sparklers – everyone who lives on SR knows exactly what they were – large and loud
   . SELFISH!!

   Carol,

   The NYPD said they were going to go after the fireworks this year, but I think the 68th Precinct knows it is pointless because so many people have such large quantities of fireworks.

   Years ago, we had to purchase them from the back of some guy’s car trunk. Now it’s easy to purchase.
