Congresswoman Malliotakis is Outraged Over the Verrazzano Bridge Toll Hike

Congresswoman Nicole Malliotakis shared that the MTA will be voting for a Verrazzano Bridge toll increase EVEN AFTER NY received $88 billion in federal aid and NY is expected to receive 50 Billion more.

Malliotakis wants Cuomo to use some of these funds instead of raising the price of the toll.

No other politicians have spoken about the hike – even though it’s been in the news for awhile.

Residents in Malliotakis’ district feel she doesn’t represent NY11 and that Malliotakis is playing politics because she hasn’t done anything about the problems with the MTA.

Many residents are upset that their representative, Congresswoman Malliotakis, voted against funding the MTA.
