South African Variant of the Coronavirus is in NYC
A patient transferred from a Connecticut hospital to a hospital in New York has the Covid variant from South Africa. (Story)

They aren’t sure how if the vaccine is going to work on it.
Bay Ridge is at 11% Covid positive, which is lower than other areas around us, but not the lowest for Brooklyn. (See map here)
