Malliotakis’ Campaign Staffer – Very Inappropriate Language!
This is a VERY BAD ANALOGY likening the actions of the de Blasio & Cuomo against small businesses to those of a Nazi dictator. I used angry and hurtful words that caused people pain. I apologize to my Jewish family members and friends for my lapse in judgement. pic.twitter.com/d3R6W5D84J

Congresswoman Nicole Malliotakis is taking some heat for a member of her campaign’s staff’s inappropriate language.
Leticia Remauro, owner of The Vonn Agency made $90,000 working on Malliotakis’ Congressional Campaign. (See article)

In early December, Remauro gave a speech and used the words, “Heil Hitler.” (No I am not kidding) The anti-lockdown protest was held at Macs Public House in Staten Island. (Story here)
There is never a time someone should use words that Nazis used in the 1930’s.
Remauro explained these were not the words she intended to use. (See story) She intended to say Mein Führer and not Heil Hitler. (Why say either?!)
Here’s the sad part. Remauro went on social media and asked people if they thought the comment was offensive. (See here) She didn’t know.
Nicole Malliotakis condemned Remauro’s words here.
Remauro is running for Staten Island Borough President.

WOW. Letiticia Remauro has a lot to learn about history.
Hugs,
marlene
