Fire – 3rd Avenue & 98th Street in Bay Ridge

Did you hear the sirens tonight right before 7:00 pm? Yes, there was another fire tonight.

The fire was in the large apartment building on 3rd Avenue and 98th Street.

It was in the upper level of the building and the FDNY had their ladder all the way up.

Thank God for the FDNY.

   How scary it would be to have to evacuate down that ladder from that height! I don’t know if I could do it. Anyone here have that experience?

   I agree. Thankfully, this fire didn’t have the intensity of the fire on 92nd Street and just the firefighters went up it.
