Almost 300,000 People Left NYC!
The pandemic coupled with the rise in crime have made NY’ers reconsider calling NYC their home. (Story here)
People should be able to find apartments (and parking spaces) in places and price ranges they weren’t able to find them in before!

Just recently I read on the City-Data site that landlords are not lowering the official rent for an apartment because it will then reset under rent stabilization laws. It was said that they are just offering a free month’s rent or two instead. They want to be able to jack up the rents again if conditions change.
