You Heard a Gunshot in Bay Ridge in the 90’s?
No gunshot.
Just someone with a few extra fireworks.
They ran outside and lit a two pretty high flying fireworks and one that sounded like a gunshot. Yup just one.
I laughed because when I was in high school, we used to buy loose fireworks from the back of this guy’s car in Bensonhurst and walk back to Sunset Park with them. My mother knew not to let me have a lot of money. so I could only buy one rocket and two small bombs. But I had a lot of poor friends, so they bought the same and we brought them to the kids on the block to lite them up.
