Verrazzano Bridge Jumper
The information came tonight online. A man had jumped from the Verrazzano Bridge early this morning.

Five days ago, a 19 year old girl jumped from the bridge. (See here) On April 17th, a man released from jail jumped from the bridge – Story here.
We heard the copters flying around this morning and thought it must be another jumper. The Citizen App showed video of the FDNY near the bridge around 10:30 am. See here
Since there is less traffic on the Verrazzano Bridge now because businesses are closed, NYC should complete the fencing around the bridge. This is a hard time now and the bridge should be secured so no one else is hurt.

A fence on the VN bridge is not an option.
We are living in a very unpleasant time.
People are losing jobs, can’t pay bills,
family problems, health problems. It’s
Overwhelming. People start to think that
If they end their lives it’s the easy way to
end their problems. They feel helpless
and hopeless. Help is available.
Please put a fence on the bridge and
Put pictures of the fence in the
newspapers. They have to find solutions.
Not end their lives. And not this way.
