Gounardes Wants 4/20 Weed Day to Be Constitution Day
The Pandemic virus is in full effect.
Over 300 people in NYC are dying each day.
Tonight Senator Andrew Gounardes and some other NYS Senators had a meeting. The meeting announcement sounded decent, but it wasn’t.
Gounardes went into detail on how he wanted to make April 20th (which is Weed Day explained below). Yes, during the Pandemic while renters are waiting for relief, he talked about making April 20th Constitution Day…April 20th was four days ago. Not one senator spoke up or tried to change the topic – they sat their like sheep listening to this nonsense as if it was important.
Two senators were involved in other online meetings. Biaggi showed up at 6:30 pm. As soon as she came in, the moderator asked Biaggi about her favorite pandemic breakfast. I wasn’t sure if I was listening to Senators or 12 year olds. Biaggi said she liked bars for breakfast and then broke down talking about her favorite drink, kombucha. #NotJoking
John Liu overbooked (because he’s so important LOL) and stayed in this meeting, even though he had another virtual meeting. Again not one senator hinted or said, “We’ll see you soon John.”
(April 20th is celebrated as weed day because 4:20 pm each day is known as weed time for some people…..While I know many of you know 4:20 time, some of my family members would be wondering why 4/20 is called Weed Day and will call me to tell me that I didn’t explain this well enough.)
