Prayers for our neighbor…hopefully she is okay and has a quick recovery! We’re glad she is alive!
Prayers also for the driver.
In the afternoon, the 68th Precinct shared that they were talking to residents about pedestrian safety. Maybe this wasn’t the best day to talk about pedestrian safety. Their flyer needs to add a new box: “Wear sneakers and start running when a 3,000 pound vehicle is approaching you on the sidewalk.”
Neighborhood Coordination Officers Caputo and Alverio were out at 9000 Shore Rd on Tuesday giving out flyers spreading awareness about pedestrian safety. #NYPDTransport #VisionZero pic.twitter.com/FCau6qxnP0
