Where can I buy a sheetcake in Bay Ridge?
1) Superfresh Keyfood at 242 Bay Ridge Avenue. 718-836-5545. The baker at this store does some nice cakes. Some people buy cake decorations from Amazon and bring them to Superfresh to design around the characters. They have a free parking garage across the street. They close around 10 pm most nights. $45.00 (1/4 sheet cake – $30)
2) Shoprite – you can order it online and then go pick up- the store is on Avenue I and McDonald Avenue. It’s in the same shopping center as Amazing Savings. Full sheet cake for less than $50.
3) Foodtown has sheetcakes that you can personalize for $36.00. Very cute Frozen cake. They do not make chocolate sheet cakes.
4) Leske’s Bakery at 7612 5th Avenue – $78 for a half sheet cake. 11×15 serves 30-40 people.

8) Costco at 976 3rd Avenue in Industry City has inexpensive sheet cakes and they taste good. They chocolate cake with chocolate frosting and vanilla with vanilla frosting. No ice cream cakes. Around $15.00. Costco chocolate mouse sheet cake $17.00. Costco now delivers – same day delivery. Their bakery section has some ready-to-go sheet cakes in case you need one quick.
9) BJs at 1752 Shore Parkway in Brooklyn has as a large selection of sheet cakes with 3D effect decorations which are free (some of the decorations are on springs). Not ice cream cakes though. You have to be a member to get a cake there. $25.00. You can get a chocolate sheet cake (which people have said is good) or you can do a half-and-half (half vanilla and half chocolate). *They have cupcakes that match the sheet cake (and taste better) and they have tiered cakes as well.
