Recycle Your Xmas Tree in Bay Ridge
Bare Christmas trees can be left outside for the sanitation to pick up. (Bare meaning: no lights or decorations)
Or you can participate in NYC Mulchfest by bringing your tree to Owl’s Head Park on Saturday, January 4th and Saturday, Jan. 11th from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. – see here
If you want mulch for your garden bring you own bag.
Good and Green, an environmental organization in Bay Ridge, is having a community event at Owls Head Park on Sunday January 5th at 11:00 am. They need volunteers to help spread the mulch to the trees in the park and of course you can pick up mulch to take back to your garden as well. See information here.
