Iraqi House Received a Rave Review in the NYT
Above is the Quzi Chicken from Iraqi House in Bay Ridge – it’s delicious!
The Iraqi House Restaurant at 7215 – 3rd Avenue has only been open a few months. Already it caught the eye and tastebuds of the New York Times Food Critics. Read the review here
Lee had the Quzi Lamb and loved it. Lee is kind of picky so when he says something is delicious – it means it is really delicious. The meat falls off the bone!
This fosoulia (it’s like a bean soup). It was so delicious. I want Mohammed to sell this as a soup, so I can stop and get some on the way home from work.
The Iraqi House is the only restaurant in NYC devoted to Iraqi cuisine! People love this food – see his reviews.
We had a chance to talk to Mohammed, the owner of Iraqi House. He is very pleasant and upbeat. We could see how proud he was of his family’s dishes because they are so delicious.
See more pics of the food here. Mohammed doesn’t make the dishes too spicy, in case you were wondering – just flavorful!
Stop into Iraqi House – definitely get the rice. And get a bowl of the Fosoulia – they were so good.
Iraqi House is also on Seamless and Grubhub – there are a lot of pics of the food on there.
Hugs,
marlene
