Dyker Heights Electricity Issues Continue
Last Summer, Dyker Heights saw a lot of power outages. Tonight firemen responded to a smoking transformer. Last night, there was a manhole issue.
Summer has arrived and residents are already dealing with power issues. Residents believe it is due to overcrowding from the illegal conversions in the area, but Dyker Heights certainly isn’t the most crowded place in NYC. Con Edison has to work on their infrastructure so it’s able to handle the power in the area better.
If your power has gone out, turn off your appliances, but leave a light switched on (so you know when power is restored).
