  • Redeemer St. John’s Lutheran Church Let’s Go Shopping and Fight Cancer. 10:00 am – 3:00 pm

 

 

 

  • Octoberfest at Lockyard 9221-5th Avenue in Bay Ridge There will be a cask keg, a stein hoisting competition and games all day! #beer#bratwurst#pretzels

 

 

 

  • Columbus Day Parade on 18th Avenue starting at 1:00 pm on 61st Street and ending at Benson Avenue. 87th Street in front of FIAO is where all the action is

  • Ragamuffin Parade – 11:00 am – Starts on 3rd Avenue and 75th Street and goes to 92nd Street – Registration form  Children can walk with the other children in the parade or parents can join in.  Many parents with strollers like to get dressed up. Anyone who register gets a small toy at the end. Prizes are given to then children with the best costumes.

 

  • Kaiser Park Fall Festival – free

  • Little Bees Halloween Event for little kids. Free.   12:00 – 1:30 pm (Must RSVP)

 

 

  • Children’s Halloween Parade in Coney Island – starts at 10:00 am at MCO Park – 1904 Surf Avenue. Free.  

 

 

 

 

  • Halloween Haunted Walk and Fair – Lookout Hill in Prospect Park 12:00 – 3:00 pm. Free. Encounter zombies, werewolves, witches and other Halloween spirits on a haunted walk through the woodland Lookout Hill, ideal for families with children ages 7-12. All ages can enjoy a festive Halloween Fair on the Nethermead, featuring family-friendly activities, as well as sweet and savory treats from some of the city’s top food trucks. This event is rain or shine, RSVPs are encouraged but not required.
