Props to the Lord!
I have been having conflicting thoughts about some things lately. I have a situation with someone talking about me. Of course what they are saying is not true and the words said came back to me through several channels because people know me.
But it hurts to think that someone would have unkind words to say about ME. I pretty much spend my days in a drama-free way, so this isn’t common for me. I understand that my time here is limited so I do what I love and don’t spend time speaking about other people.
Unsure of what to do, I turned to Him for guidance. Normally I would cry, but there there wasn’t a tear shed. Maybe God knows how much I hate crying or maybe He just helped shield me from this situation. So props to God for whatever He is doing in my life.
If you have a moment, say a prayer that the woman with too many words stays out of my path for awhile. I think God needs to send a bit more understanding to me before I see her.
Hugs,
marlene

Sorry to hear about that. I’ll put in a good word for you. And if that doesn’t work, I know a guy in Jersey. :)

I am sorry that you are going thru this. You have the right attitude to take it to the Lord and let Him direct you……. the tongue is a two edged sword…Praying that God will give you the ability to keep yours on the side of Glory for Him. :)

Mark’s comment made me laugh…
I’ve had an issue where someone I thought was a friend for the last 20 years did something so totally unfriendly and all I want to do is get in her face and give her a piece of my mind. (Lawyers are involved now so I can’t)
I’m angry and hurt and all kinds of things but somehow I have actually been able to pray for her.

People who spend their time doing what they love and keeping drama out of their lives always seem to attract those who do not. It’s a test, don’t give in to it! :) Pray for her.

Jesus wasn’t accepted, much less treated properly.
I have found that those who are the most sincere..have the biggest heart, but are the first to receive poor treatment.
“If you are part of this world, you are no part of me, for I am no part of this world” ~ Jesus
I guess we should consider it an honor to be abused. lol..not really, but you know what I mean I hope. :-)

Hi! :) Just thought I’d let you know I love your blog – and the fact that you share God through it. Best of luck with your situation. Someone once told me, “Nobody has the power to upset you unless you give them that power”…or something along those lines…lol. It helps me a lot – that and praying, of course!
It just helps me realize that I’m strong enough to not give people the right to upset me – they don’t have that right or power – nor do I have to give them that power. Only I get to choose the way I let others make me feel.
If someone is mean to me – I can either sit there and be mad, or not give them the satisfaction. I usually choose to not give them the satisfaction…lol. Life’s too short – so smile and instead of thinking about things that make you mad, think of things that make you happy.
Cheers!

God alone is real, nothing matters but love for God.
