Senator Steve Chan is a well-loved politician in Brooklyn. Chan and I aren’t even in the same political party, but he is one of my favorites because he works for Brooklyn and shares what is really going on in Albany.
While residents welcomed Chan to the block party, Councilwoman Susan Zhuang told Steve it was a private party and he was not welcome. Some thought Susan was “joking” about not allowing Chan there
The reality is Susan supports her friend, Larry He, who is running against Steve. There was a huge sign for Larry that can be seen at the beginning of the video.
