Belt Parkway Scammers Charged – Jail Time
Jaime Huiracocha and Victor Murillo pleaded guilty in a scheme in which they deliberately staged crashes, including accidents on the Belt Parkway so they could collect fraudulent insurance payouts. Huiracocha is 53-years-old and Murillo is 34-years-old. News:
Jaime Huiracocha was sentenced to 1 to 3 years in prison.
Victor Murillo: sentenced to 2 years in prison.
Two other participants, Maikel Martinez and Ivon Matus-Martinez, also pleaded guilty and are expected to be sentenced.
