Bay Ridge Resident Hit By Moped Calls on Kayla Santosuosso To Take Action
A Bay Ridge resident wrote about being hit by a moped and the driver taking off. She tagged Council Representative Kayla Santosuosso:
“Today, I was crossing the street with the right of way when a moped passed a stopped car, crossed over the double yellow lines and hit me. I was thrown into the opposite lane and, thankfully, there wasn’t a car coming from the other direction. The driver then fled the scene, leaving me bruised and shaken.“
Santosuosso responded:

By now Santosuosso should have introduced legislation to put license plates on all motorized bikes and scooters. Santosuosso doesn’t seem to understand that these vehicles speeding and taking off after a collision are a problem in Bay Ridge.
