Andrew Gounardes Failed Redhook Families – Another Year of The Pool Not Being Open!
Senator Andrew Gounardes announced today (the last day of school) that the Redhook Pool would not be open. Why didn’t he have the pool checked at the beginning of May so it would be ready to open in June?
Last year, the same pool was not available to the public until after August 15, 2025. See the date on Gounardes’ tweet:
Since this is the second year, Senator Gounardes should have made plans to get a temporary pool put in the area. This has been done for other neighborhood in NYC.
