Robbery on 88th Street in Bay Ridge
Early this morning, Ridgires knew something was going on because the helicopters were overhead and police cars were on the streets.
Three young men were involved in a robbery on 88th Street and Colonial Road. Neighbors shared that someone made an order to be delivered to a home on 88th Street. When the delivery man came, the young men knocked the delivery man on the ground and checked him for money. The delivery man called for help. The house had a RING camera so it captured all of this.
The 68th Precinct Police came fast and captured one of the three men. Neighbors shared that the police officers moved very rapidly for this arrest. Two of the thieves ran through the backyards. We are not sure if they were caught.
One neighbor shared that there was a mugging on the corner just before this incident happened.
