John Chell is Running for Mayor in 2029
John Chell from Bay Ridge is running for Mayor in 2029. He moved to Staten Island in 2015, but the news picked up that his roots are in Bay Ridge. See news: https://shorturl.at/indDF
John Chell was in the NYPD for 32 years .
I don’t know John Chell personally, but I do know that when he took a lead position in the NYPD, things got better. Chell was Chief of Patrol and then Chief of Department (chosen by Jessica Tisch).
Chell is strong and confident. You could tell he loves this city and he knows what needs to be done to keep everyone safe!
In October 2025, Chell retired from the NYPD. The socialist leadership must have made him realize he needs to run. 2029 is a few years away, so he has time to change his mind, but I hope he doesn’t.
