Mario Caggiano is Running for Democratic District Leader in District 46 (Against Chris McCreight)

FINALLY. I have been waiting for Mario Caggiano to run for office. Mario is running to be the Democratic District Leader in the 46th District.

Chris McCreight held the position of District Leader for years. McCreight didn’t bring new people to run for office. Chris supported his friends running for office: Justin Brannan, Andrew Gounardes and Kayla Santosuosso. When someone announced their candidacy against Brannan, McCreight did not welcome him to the election and encourage a primary to let the people decide (McCreight wanted Brannan to run unopposed.)

By now, Chris McCreight, the current District Leader in District 46 should have stepped down. McCreight served as Chief-of-Staff to Justin Brannan for many years and did not speak out once about the corruption happening in our community.

Politicians who have overstayed in office need Dino to put them out:

I don’t Mario personally, but I have watched him do many good things for people in Brooklyn!

Mario has been a NYC public school teacher for 30 years. He’s very active in the Kiwanis Club and always doing some good deeds (giving out school bags, bringing sneakers to the NYPD for domestic violence victims, etc.)

The NYPDn 60th Precinct shared this picture.

Mario is a father and well-respected by people because he is a good man. Mario heads an organization which helps children and families in need: https://www.communityheartbeatny.com

Politically, Mario is not part of the group of Democrats in office – which is a good thing! He is a member of the Seagate Democrats.

A District Leader is an unpaid political position. District Leader s do not vote or pass legislation. The sole purpose of a district leader is to support Democrat candidates for election in a community.

Hugs,
marlene
