RIP Johary Cantave – Only 14-Years-Old
Johary Cantave, a 14-year-old, was killed on Friday, March 6, 2026 around 11:40 pm on 46th Street and 10th Avenue in Sunset Park, Brooklyn.
The news shared that Johary Cantave was sitting in a white Mitsubishi with his friend on the corner of 9th Avenue and 46th Street. A 14-year-old that was a friend of the driver was outside the car on a scooter.
Then three males wearing masks came up to them and started arguing with the 14-year-old on the scooter. (Source: https://shorturl.at/2g0LR ) One of them took out a gun and shot Johary in the head. (Source: https://shorturl.at/KDRyn ) The news did not know if Johary was their target or if they boy on the scooter was the target.
Johary Cantave’s friend drove him to to Maimonides Hospital where he died.
No one has been arrested for his death Johary’s death.
