Four Days After The Storm, The D Train Platform Is Not Cleared in Brooklyn
The 79th Street D train station in Brooklyn has not been cleared – it’s four days after the storm. This is a safety issue as there isn’t enough room for people to pass each other.
Senator Andrew Gounardes is silent, even though he was alerted about the problem and provided a picture.
The residents using this train live in Councilmember Kayla Santosusso’s office. When they contacted the Councilwoman, she said, “That’s not my district.”
Kayla knows this is a gerrymandered district, so she should be helping the people with the services that they need to use (not crying, “Not my district.”)
