Five Story Building Coming to 79th St & 13th Ave
New York featured a corner property that is set for development. The address is 1283 – 80th Street OR 7924 – 13th Avenue. It’s across the street from La Bella Marketplace.
The new 55-foot-tall building will have 22 residences and 10 parking spaces.
In an area where the sewers and electric grid haven’t been updated, how can they put this big development? It’s called The City of Yes.

after 36 years of voting in, loving and raising my family in this neighborhood. I am deeply disappointed to see it transformed into a place I no longer recognize. It was once a community that felt safe and like family, but that closeness has been replaced by unregulated development, allowing structures to be built as high or wide as they want without regard for the existing character of neighbors. It is heartbreaking to feel like I am being pushed out of the very home where I built my life, sacrificing a beautiful community for unchecked growth.

I’m sorry this is happening in your area and something nicer isn’t being developed.
It happened to Sunset Park years ago and now it’s happening throughout Brooklyn.
