Century’s Property on 86th Street Was Sold – New Shopping Area in Bay Ridge is Coming!
Century’s on 86th Street in Bay Ridge has been closed for years. People were glad to hear the building was sold and new companies will setup a fresh retail area in Bay Ridge.
ASG Equities, (the Gindi family), who founded the Century 21 stores, sold the property to MCB Real Estate (a Baltimore-headquartered investment firm) and Osiris Ventures (a retail investment firm) for $47.5 million.
“They plan to set up a grocery-anchored retail corridor called Century Marketplace.” It will continue to be two story buildings with the addition of a new interior atrium (which we saw in the last plan design.
The store renovation projects are planned to start this year. News:
