24 Million Spent to Make the Bay Ridge Station Pretty – No Access for Disabled
Joe Lhota and crew showed up to the Bay Ridge Avenue Station to take pictures. Twenty-four million has been spent on making it look cleaner and good for selfies. Yet, it not accessible for disabled residents. For most NY’ers, they just want the train to move and to move fast. No one wants to be standing in a station long enough to notice if it is pretty. Bay Ridge residents protested because disabled residents, especially those in wheelchairs don’t have a station in Bay Ridge that they can use to access the subway.
