How Long Will It Take Bay Ridge’s Local Papers to Report About Ross Barkan Challenging Senator Golden?
Ross Barkan has challenged Senator Marty Golden. I want to run through the streets and tell everyone!
How long will it take for our local papers in Bay Ridge to feature a store about Barkan? This is big news because Marty Golden went unchallenged in the last election. It actually took several days.
Barkan isn’t owned by anyone. But some of our local rags are owned, so it will take awhile before they bury a small story about him deep in the paper. Many of our local papers won’t even print a story when Golden hasn’t done the right thing (local reporters missed the story of Golden writing a bill to give huge tax breaks to developers in Manhattan).
Yet, there are a few honest publications which will share the information in a few days, but none had it this morning.
But maybe some will surprise us and give Barkan a first rate the story because Barkan is a journalist; he’s one of them! (Yeah my optimism is strong at the beginning of the day).
