Construction Started on 8th Ave. – 61st/62nd St.

In May 2023, Community Board 10 talked about a huge development that was planned for 62nd Street and 8th Avenue. (Info)
Community Board 10 said that the building didn’t require a special permit or review. I don’t recall CB 10 talking about this project after that.
Back then, The Brooklyn Reporter shared that a 28-story building was planned for that location and they shared this photo:
From Sandra’s photos this week, it looks like they started construction on this project. It’s strange that no one has mentioned this property or project in the last year.

That building it too large for that area because 8th Avenue and 62nd Street is already very busy.
