Juneteenth Events in Brooklyn – June 19, 2025

1) Juneteenth in Bay Ridge – From 2:00 – 3:00 pm on 86th Street and 4th Avenue, there will be a “Black History Matters Juneteenth Vigil sponsored by the Peace Action Bay Ridge group.

2) The Ridge Creative – full day event for children


3) Juneteenth Jubilee at Nautilus Playground at West 30th Street between Boardwalk & Surf Avenue from 12:00 pm. Free. If it rains, the event will be held at: The Coney Island YMCA – 2980 West 29th Street


4) Greenwood Cemetary is having a Juneteeth Family Trolley Tour at 10:30 am – 12:00 pm. People interested in this tour have to register and meet at 500 – 25th Street (off 5th Ave) in Brooklyn

5) Juneteenth Central Brooklyn Festival and Teen Entrepreneur Expo at The Brooklyn Public Library at 11:30 am.

6) BRIC Celebrate Brooklyn’s 3rd Annual Juneteenth in the Park doors open at 5 p.m., show starts at 6 pm, Lena Horne Bandshell, 141 Prospect Park West, Brooklyn, NY 11215 Info:

7) Juneteenth at Brooklyn Bridge Park from 11:00 – 12:30 pm.

8) Dogtopia at 505 Myrtle Avenue is having a Juneteenth Pool Party for dogs. (I don’t think this is what people had in mind, but dog lovers will like it.)

9) Juneteenth Photo Exhibition — Monad Gallery 253 Nostrand Avenue in Brooklyn

8:30 pm – 11:00 pm RSVP Required for Opening Evening – Currently at capacity of 1000 people.
