Why did District Attorney Eric Gonzalez wait seven months to charge the 42-year-old driver? Newspapers revealed that the driver backed up his Hyundai Elantra and hit Norm.
“Jorge Gonzalez-Cadme was charged with reckless driving, speeding and unsafe backing of a vehicle in addition to criminally negligent homicide. This is the first time we are seeing the drivers name – no paper included it until today.” (Source)
Thank you to everyone who wrote to the DA!
