Dyker Resident Shared That Her Father’s Jewelry Was Robbed on 65th Street
A kind Brooklynite shared on Facebook: “My 75-year-old father’s gold chain/cross was robbed yesterday, July 18th around 3:10 pm-3:20 pm on 65th Street between 11th & 12th Avenue.“
Her father turned over the jewelry to the thieves and was not harmed, thankfully.
The NYPD have been searching for this husband and wife team, who are riding around in a white SUV and targeting seniors in our area.
Not one politician has shared this, even though it has been going on for a long time. The NYPD sometimes has the silliest public service messages, but for Dyker Heights seniors this is real – Don’t wear your gold necklaces and jewelry while walking around alone.
Description of the Thieves:
The male is in his early 30, clean shaven, 5’5″ -5’7″ tall and dark eyes.
The female was wearing a burgundy turban.
If you were on 65th Street yesterday (7/17) or you live on the block and have camera content which can help, please contact the police.

Hugs,
marlene
