Summer Rising – What You Need for the First Day
In the second week of May, they send the acceptances to the Summer Rising Program. (Info about the program)
Once you are accepted into the Summer Rising Program, you know your location.
Time: The Summer Rising Program is Monday to Friday and starts at 8:00 am.
For six weeks, From Monday to Thursday, students have the academic program from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. The afternoon is for the enrichment program 12:00 – 6:00 pm Monday- Thursday.
On Fridays, the children have the enrichment program all day.
The last week of the program, the students have a full day enrichment program from Monday-Friday. The school will send a calendar home.
Breakfast and lunch are free, but your child can bring lunch if he or she wants other food.
Supplies to bring: a backpack, a notebook, a folder and some pens and pencils.
