RIP Johary Cantave – Only 14-Years-Old
Johary Cantave, a 14-year-old, was killed on Friday, March 6, 2026 around 11:40 pm on 46th Street and 10th Avenue in Brooklyn.
The news shared that Johary Cantave was sitting in a white Mitsubishi with his friend on the corner of 9th Avenue and 46th Street. A 14-year-old that was a friend of the driver was outside the car on a scooter. Then three males wearing masks came up to them and started arguing with them. One of them took out a gun and shot Johary in the head.

Johary Cantave’s friend drove him to to Maimonides Hospital where he died.
It was unclear if Johary was their target or if the guy on the scooter was the target. Info:

No one has been arrested for his death yet.
