We Are Going to Be Gerrymandered Out of District 11 and Forced Into District 10
The Democrats claimed that Hispanic and black voters are disenfranchised in District 11. Nicole Malliotakis, a Latino, leads that district right now.
Democrats want Dan Goldman, a white man to be the Congressman of District 11. News:
Dan Goldman is not a good leader. He was placed in charge of the Brooklyn Marine Terminal Project. Then Goldman accepted donations from a member of the EDC. I attended meetings in the beginning and Dan Goldman was not present. The meetings were superficial. The staff read the slides with repetitive general information that everyone knew.
It looks like Bay Ridge will be gerrymandered into District 10.
Democrats want Brad Lander to lead that district. Brad Lander has not been an honest leader or good to Bay Ridge. Lander held property tax meetings around NYC and told people he was going to help them. Lander lives in Park Slope and pays far less in property taxes – if he changed the property taxes, he would need to pay more. Lander has supported corrupt politicians in Bay Ridge.
There isn’t a decent Democrat leader who will speak up and say to stop the gerrymandering.
