Gounardes & Santosuosso Waited To Mention a Hate Crime That Happened to a Child Last Week!

Some of out local elected leaders are on social media every day playing politics, but not helping the community.

On Friday, January 30th, several hate crimes happened in #BayRidge – one was towards a 12-year-old child. She was punched in the face by a woman while waiting to be picked up outside school on Fort Hamilton Parkway and 92nd Street! See the news:

The 68th Precinct, Andrew Gouanardes and Kayla Santosuosso didn’t think the community needed to be told until after the news released the story when the hater was arrested yesterday. Why weren’t parents in the area told?

Thankfully, no other children were hurt! Captain Desaro and the politicians think people don’t need to know. This is why people don’t trust them.

A woman from Staten Island was arrested for the hate crimes. This is not the first time that a Staten Island resident has committed a hate crime in Bay Ridge. News:

Senator Andrew Gounardes and Councilwoman Kayla Santosuosso didn’t share that information until today when the news reported the story.

We shouldn’t be hearing THIS WEEK about a crime that happened last week. Parents have the right to know when crimes are happening, so they can use every precaution to keep their children safe.

Strangely, it’s five days later and the 68th Precinct did not log these as hate crimes. There are zero hate crimes for our area. We have several problems – not just social media politicians.

Hugs,
marlene
