Ridgites Didn’t Get Help With Snow on Corners and Bus Stops

Brooklynites headed back to school and work today, but the city wasn’t ready. Streets weren’t fully cleared and sidewalks, especially at the corners had a lot of snow.

People reached out to Kayla Santosuosso. Santosuosso messaged on social media saying she contacted DSNY, but most blocks didn’t receive any help for their snowy corners.

The above pictures were taken outside the new Councilwoman’s office. People didn’t think Santosuosso or her staff did a good job clearing the bus stop. One kind resident offered to shovel tomorrow.
On Monday, both Santosuosso and Andrew Gounardes’ office “were remote.” The pandemic ended years ago, but some politicians don’t get it!
Councilwoman Susan Zheng’s office offered volunteers to help with snow. When more people asked for help than they had volunteers, Susan and her staff went to homes and helped the seniors! That’s someone who enjoys helping people!
