New Citibike Stations in Bay Ridge – Why is This At The Bottom of CB 10’s Flyer?

On Thursday, May 15th, Community Board 10 is having a Traffic and Transportation meeting at 7:00 pm at 8119 – 5th Avenue.
On the agenda is the expansion of six new Citibike stations in Bay Ridge. While some are on the sidewalk, many are in the street taking a parking space.
Why did CB 10 put this item so low on the agenda? You can also register to speak virtually at the meeting. Register here and tell them how you feel:

The proposed new Citibike stations in Bay Ridge will be at:
1) Ovington Avenue between 3rd and 4th Avenue (North side sidewalk against the curb line). Here: http://maps.app.goo.gl/zvPvnUgQ9NViQ8TS8
2) 77th Street between 3rd and 4th Avenue – South side parking lane
3) 3rd Avenue between 81st and 82nd Street – East side sidewalk against the fence line. It’s going here:
4) 85th Street between 3rd and 4th Avenue – North side parking lane. It’s going here:
5) 88th Street between 3rd and Ridge Blvd. – south side parking lane. It’s going to be here: https://is.gd/rntoWD
6) 93rd Street between 3rd Avenue and Ridge Blvd.
We are sorry to all of our neighbors who will lose the parking, but these Citibikes are not going away (because Lyft owns Citibike). Many people like using the Citibikes to get around short distances in Brooklyn.
Some of these locations are not good because the area is already busy, maybe you can look on Google maps and recommend a better nearby location with a wide sidewalk?
Hugs,
marlene
