1) Doo Wop Night at The Knights of Columbus at 1305 – 86th Street at 7:00 pm. $50 includes beer. wine, sandwiches, coffee and dessert. For tickets, call 718-259-8840 between 10;00 am – 2:00 pm to reserve your spot.

Saturday, May 17, 2025

1) Shredding and e-waste recycling event at St. Anselm’s Parking Lot on 82nd Street and 4th Avenue from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm. Bring your documents to be shredded. Bring your televisions, computers and old electronics to be recycled. You can walk in or drive in the lot. No flyer was shared.

2) OLPH School Farewell Mass and Reception. Take a tour from 2:00 – 4:30 pm. Mass at 5:00 pm in the Church. Reception to follow at Notre Dame Hall (enter on 59th Street) $20 Email: olphmarybeth@gmail.com

The Norwegian Day Parade will take place in Bay Ridge on Sunday, May 18, 2025. The parade is starting at 1:30 pm on 3rd Avenue and 85th Street. They will turn up 75th Street to 5th Avenue and go to the park on 5th Avenue and 67th Street. (More information)

Monday, May 26, 2025

The Bay Ridge Memorial Day Parade will begin at 11:00 am on 3rd Avenue & 78th Street. The parade will proceed down 3rd Avenue to Marine Avenue. Then the parade will go up to 4th Avenue and over to John Paul Jones Park for our memorial service that includes Bag Pipes, Flag Raising and a 21-gun Salute. (More information)
