Justin Brannan Voted Yes to the City of Yes. Susan Zhuang and David Carr Voted No.

The City of Yes was voted on today in NYC Council. The vote was 31 to 20. You can see the bill and documents (here). These council representatives voted no:

An an excellent community leader in Bay Ridge, Councilman David Carr voted against the City of Yes and shared this:

Councilwoman Susan Zhuang also voted against the City of Yes. Below is the map of the NYC council members votes. Susan Zhuang is the red dot and she isn’t afraid to vote for her community.

Justin Brannan and Alexa Aviles represent the green areas surrounding Susan Zhuang’s red dot (seen below).

While the City of Yes will affect some communities, like ours, it will leave other communities untouched. Some communities will not receive housing under the City of Yes plan.

Councilman Justin Brannan voted for the City of Yes. While other representatives released a detailed explanation of their vote, Brannan made a graphic. Bay Ridge, we need to get away from politicians who think you can comprehend a graphic, while they just voted for developers.

Justin Brannan is a council member who has put zero dollars towards housing the whole time he has been in office! Where is the money that Brannan should have put towards housing? It was given to not-for-profits. Only one Democrat in Bay Ridge has spoken out about this!

Justin Brannan has done nothing, but write silly articles about property taxes. Brannan pushed for the Property Tax Commission, which delayed any progress with property taxes. When the Commission came back with their results, Justin Brannan did not take action with a protest in Brooklyn or in Albany. Rents continued to increase to cover the taxes because Justin Brannan failed to take action.

Brannan is collecting for the NYC Comptroller Race. Why are real estate developers and lobbyists backing Justin Brannan? #Awful

Axion Management is owned by Tim Zisimopoulos (Ziss). He’s the man who flipped the Nathan’s property to NYC for a school.

Here is how NYC Council Representatives voted on the City of Yes:
