OLPH – The Annex – 6th Ave & 60th Street
Wow! The huge building covered in blue netting is on 60th Street and 6th Avenue. This used to be a small building with a huge parking lot:
In the 80’s this was called “The Annex.” Years later, it was the Diocese of Brooklyn’s hiring office.
Now a huge commercial building is going to be in this location. The picture was covered and not clear, but you can get an idea of what it will look like:
Across the street is OLPH – still open and doing good things.
This is the convent for the high school nuns. Both convents were sold. This is now the Brooklyn Chinese American Association:
